Whitby Houses

Walking up the hill from the small beach at Whitby, you suddenly come upon this view, over rooftops, houses scrambling up the cliff with the tower of St. Mary's church peeking out at the top.

Thank you for the lovely watercolor. It warmed my heart. While viewing your painting, the snow underfoot bloomed with the magical art flowers.

Water colors like this really show the capacity of the medium- first visit to your site, but I love your work.

Lovely treatment to ad difficult subject. The colors are very warm and the compostion is complex but extremely well handled. Love it. Ksy

Great painting. Love the colors. I love visiting the English countryside with its quaint country cottages. Endless subjects for artists. Wish I had taken more scenic pictures on my last visit.
